Looking for a Software Engineer with experience within Naval & Marine focused industries Your new company Our client is a multi-national Aerospace organization with operations globally working with private & public sector clients delivering technical innovations day-in, day-out. Your new role We are recruiting for a Software Engineer to join their Complex Systems & Support team where you will be responsible for the day-to-day identification and appropriate resolution of technical issues throughout the product lifecycle, helping them to support submarines that play a critical role in our nation's defense. Individually, you will be heavily involved in the development, integration and delivery of software solutions within a set time and budget. The technical requirements of these solutions will be consistently in line with strict levels of specification ensuring the engineering lifecycle can be accepted, with the correct level of authority. What you'll need to succeed You will be ale to demonstrate a core understanding of Software Engineering principles, being able to work effectively to tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment. This will go alongside your recognition of relevant Engineering standards including safety & environmental regulations. It is important that you can showcase a knowledge of the engineering lifecycle whilst being able to apply good software management practices to your work.
