Are you an experienced R&D professional with experience of managing multiple projects ? Can you lead a team AND manage customer expectations ? What’s the Job? Reporting to the PR&D Manager, you’ll be responsible for the planning and delivery of multiple projects, duties will include: Manage a small team of Chemists including managing resources, identifying training needs and carrying out appraisals Ensure that process development activities meet the scope of the project Manage each project, ensuring they meet the needs of the customer and comply with quality and safety requirements Manage all project documentation, including the completion of project reports Liaise directly with the customer regarding project progress and any issues Identify any areas of continual improvement Be recognised as an expert in the field of process development and scale up whilst keeping abreast of developments and technologies that influence the business. What experience do you need? You’ll already be working with an R&D environment, in a pharmaceutical related industry, you’ll also need: Degree educated (chemistry or related discipline) Proven experience in process scale up Experience in managing multiple projects Superb communication skills and able to liaise directly with customers Strong leadership skills and able to lead a team What are the pay and benefits? There is an exceptional salary on offer for this role; holidays are 25 days plus bank holidays and benefits include pension, parking, healthcare, death in service and discretionary bonus.
