Overview
Client: Castlefield Recruitment are recruiting a finance business partner for a commercially run public sector organisation based in Cheshire. They take pride in looking after their staff and offer excellent benefits including up to 29 days holiday. Finance is a central function for the organisation and they are looking to employ a strong business partner to work closely with operational managers Role: You will act as a critical friend to operational managers and directors from key areas of the organisation, providing key financial insight to aid decision making. Duties will include; • Providing financial insights for team meetings with operational directors • Gaining an understanding of the issues within the department in order to manage key cost drivers and produce KPI’s • Acting as a key partner to aid productive business unit decisions supporting key divisions • Producing forecasts and budgets • Taking responsibility for the management and development of direct reports • Producing analysis and management information to support decision making whilst also interpreting information for non-financial managers • Build strong relationships with all key stakeholders including having a key role in the continued education of non-finance stakeholders Person: • You will be a newly or recently qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) • Have the gravitas to partner with key department heads • Have an analytical mind with the ability to manipulate complex information into concise and coherent management information • Experience using an ERP system
