Job Description Care at Home – Operations Manager Are you able to lead a team of people who support people in their community to live as independently as possible? The Care at Home Service operates seven days per week with a focus on helping people remain as independent as possible in their own home. Your role will be as Registered Homecare Manager, reporting to the Locality Manager and you will be responsible for delivering the relevant national standards and regulations in relation to Social Care. You will be responsible for both the strategic and operational management responsibility for Home Care Services in a geographical area of South Lanarkshire Council. You will be involved in the ongoing development of Services, through effective change management. You will also be responsible for ensuring delivery of effective Quality Assurance Frameworks and reporting in relation to standards and performance. This Service is currently going through a re-design process to modernise the Service for the best outcomes for the services users and the Communities of South Lanarkshire Council. You should have extensive knowledge and experience of managing Care at Home Services, to a high standard. And will have experience of business transformation, as well as the development of new policies, procedures and guidelines to improve service delivery. The role will also include Alert Services and you will contribute to the operational and developmental agenda of the service to continue to provide and support people in their own home and assist them to build upon their skills and abilities. This will allow service users to continue to live independently within South Lanarkshire Council. There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to high quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the Organisation and to ensure that the effective use of Home Care resources are maintained and that services operate to specified standards within approved budgets. You should hold a Practice qualification – SVQ Social Services and Healthcare SCQF Level 9 and a Management Qualification SVQ Care Services Leadership and Management SCQF Level 10 or equivalent.
