Overview
Apps Project Manager for a high profile Government department. Central London. £500 per day, inside IR35. PLEASE NOTE - ONLY APPLICANTS WITH CURRENT AND ACTIVE SC OR NPPV CLEARANCE WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE. Your new company A highly experienced and tech agnostic Project Manager is required to join a leading Government body and manage several applications projects, as part of a technology upgrade. Your new role As Project Manager you will provide overall leadership and co-ordination of technical teams, technical activities, stakeholder communication and change management activities. You will bring your expertise in project management of applications and corresponding infrastructure components of these applications. Responsibilities include: Establish and manage overall project organisation to support successful implementation Providing leadership at a senior level and negotiating issues and solutions with internal and external stakeholders Manage overarching project governance and reporting throughout implementation Monitor and management of vendors including analysis, project tracking, relationship management, and deliverables Manage project financials against budget What you'll need to succeed Considerable of end-to-end project delivery of application projects, including Windows 10, Office 365 and Microsoft Teams A proven track record managing small to medium size IT projects concurrently Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience interacting with both business and technical individuals at all levels including the executive level Experience in the public sector is preferred AS MENTIONED, ONLY APPLICANTS WITH CURRENT AND ACTIVE SC OR DV CLEARED WILL BE CONSIDERED.
