Overview

Project Manager / Change Manager – Banking – Cards – PSD2 A leading Global Bank currently require Business Analysts with strong knowledge of either Cards or PSD2 to be based either at their Sheffield or Birmingham Office, This will for an initial 6 Month Contract with an extension highly likely paying £295 PAYE. Role Overview: Project Leads are involved at all stages of the project lifecycle, from change initiation, design and delivery, through to benefits realisation and will support more senior project managers. They may be located in BAU teams as well as Project teams. Project Leads may have direct reports and may be supported by Business Analysts, Programme Management Office (PMO) staff or admin support staff. The Project Lead will hold most or all of these responsibilities: • Defining the project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around the project plan, commitments and changes • Managing delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, communications, budget and risks • Defining resource needs, responsibilities and schedules • Working within project controls and procedures • Working within established quality assurance processes • Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders • Reporting progress, issues, dependencies and risks to project leadership and committees (as appropriate) and making recommendations to influence decision making in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realisation • Providing guidance and maintaining a focus on how the project aligns to wider programme objectives Knowledge & Qualifications • Desirable to have one of more project management qualifications e.g. Prince2, APMP, Agile, MoP • Desirable to have knowledge of HSCB Business Transformation Framework (BTF2) • Good level of banking and business knowledge and / or experience • Proven track record in project and change delivery • Knowledge of the marketplace, competition and regulatory environments Skills Experience: • Previous Banking Knowledge (Global Banking highly advantageous) • PSD 2 / Card Experience • Significant experience of delivering business change to customers/internal teams/3rd parties. • Experience of business change delivery – requirements/business process mapping/business implementation.
