Senior Engineer / Senior Development Engineer Based Warrington £50-£58k 28days Holiday Flexible working Working for a leading 5 star House Builder - Main purpose of the role: Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your main responsibilities will include managing the process relating to feasibility, planning and programming start on site and the required enabling works to facilitate the development and securing all necessary consents to enable projects to commence; liaison and support of other departments along with providing technical information and resolving technical issues along with providing support of the pre-contract application process. Skills and abilities To manage and communicate at a senior level. Confident oral and written communication skills. Financial and commercial awareness. Communicate effectively with all those who have a stake in the work. Effectively manage time to meet deadlines. Ability to negotiate and influence. Experience An excellent knowledge of construction and architectural, civil, structural and geotechnical and geo-environmental engineering techniques in the residential sector. A successful track record of technical co-ordination with respect to engineering and utilities matters. You must also be proficient in the use of AutoCAD/PDS/Microdrainage. A background in house building, architectural or design preferably with the housing sector or practise. A clear understanding of Health and Safety legislation with CDM and Principal Designer.
