Overview
In the technology space, often the mere mention of the word 'Bank' can cause a lot of potential candidates to be turned off to the role. The usual issues tend to be red tape, legacy technology, slow progression opportunities and a general lack of work/life balance (to name but a few…). You will be playing around with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform etc, all within an environment embracing a serverless approach. No Slow Progression - You will be joining a Bank that doesn't limit your progression. Your progression is down to you and how you perform. Fair? Work/Life Balance? Yes - You won't be in the office for 16 hours day and thankfully, this isn't the Wolf of Wall Street. This organisation is a big fan of dynamic working and have a family-friendly approach (no chains on the des). Working from home a couple of days' per week is therefore fine.
