Overview

MMP Consultancy are working with a Housing Provider based in London to recruit a Compliance Officer (Property) to join them on an on-going temporary contract. Responsibilities: Ensure the Statutory Compliance function within the Housing Property Services division is carried out effectively All actions are allocated and followed up, any concerns regarding non-compliance to be escalated accordingly Manage the relevant contractors, consultants and internal relationships to ensure that all statutory tests and reports (such as FRAs, Water Hygiene, LGSRs) are carried out Manage the Compliance Data Officer to ensure that the fulfil the duties outlined in their job descriptions. Identify the PPM programme for Statutory Compliance programme, instruct the relevant contractor, manage the contractors and consultants to ensure all compliance areas are delivered Ensure that the all data in relating to Statutory Compliance is held in line with the relevant policies and procedures Manage the contractor to ensure that the data team receive all relevant certification in the required timescales. Ensure that all follow-on work from PPMs is ordered and completed within the agreed timescales and to the required timescales. Provide or access expert advice act as the key point of contact for the business's housing compliance responsibilities. Ensuring all organisational record keeping, scheduling and performance monitoring responsibilities are met in relation to all areas of statutory compliance including: Gas Servicing, Electrical Safety, Legionella, Fire Safety, Asbestos, Playgrounds, Lighting, Gates Skills Required: Previous experience of working with a Housing Provider, Local Authority or main Contractor Proven experience of using multiple databases, spread sheets and analysing large quantities of data Previous experience of working with M&E or Compliance works Excellent communication skills This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89901453
