Overview
An immediate need for an HR Manager to work with the Head of HR on several projects and line manage 3 HR Advisers in an ER and recruitment focused role. The team supports front line NHS employees at different levels of seniority from Junior Doctors through to Consultants. If you have experience supporting a medical population then this would be the ideal for them as different processes apply such as MHPS and the obvious pressure on the health care system right now is one where learning the rope's, isn’t a time luxury they have. Good ER in in terms of complexity is vital in supporting Consultants, Doctors, junior Doctor and medical employees. Some of the ER cases coming through now are of a slightly different nature due to the pressure and stress people are under. Therefore style of ER has an emphasis on mediating, and exhausting the informal route. Operating within these challenging times we need someone with a strong degree of resilience, and a supportive management style to the team. The second area that is key to this role is Recruitment as you will be working closely with the medical team supporting the entire recruitment of cycle of doctors and medical employees. This will involve working closely with specialist agencies, and with the hiring managers from scoping of the role requirements through to offer stage. The Head of Workforce is open, progressive, and looking for the person who will free her to take on several new incoming projects. In addition there is a new online portal that is going live. The 3 HR Advisers are each responsible for their own occupational groups, and this role will work closely in supporting and managing them with their day-to-day tasks. At this stage we are being flexible on 6 - 12 month FTC, and this can be seen as contract for that duration, or if you are ideally looking for a permanent role then whoever is in this role can be considered for that role once that process starts much later in the year. The recruitment process for this FTC will be straightforward and swift starting with an initial video interview. This role is a band 7. £38,765 - £41,486
