Overview

Motor Finance - Underwriter Team Manager North west based motor finance provider Recruiting a management position, leading a team of 5 experienced new business underwriters Working hours are 9-5, 5 days a week. Very commutable from: Manchester, Liverpool, Rochdale, Bolton, Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Warrington and other surrounding areas Responsibilities: Supervision of the new business underwriting team to ensure consistent delivery of work at a high standard. Coaching of team members to improve capability Assess credit applications in accordance with company policy and procedures Continually look to improve underwriting processes and procedures within the company Working closely with other team managers and key stakeholders to promote a co-operative and customer friendly environment. Person Requirements: Motor finance underwriting experience (ideally with intermediary/broker experience but not essential) Team management experience Good judgement, ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines Team player and enjoys working towards shared targets. Salary Details: Paying a salary dependant on experience £35,000 - £45,000 Annual bonus dependant on personal and company performance - ( on average this is usually around £6,000) EXTENSIVE benefits package including pension, life assurance, private medical, season ticket loans.
