Overview

The role will involve organising and supervising the activities and working practices that facilitates the smooth running of the office. Helping train and develop team members in order to provide an efficient dynamic business which achieves its objectives. A good understanding of the business objectives and supporting the management team in delivering results which meet or exceed agreed targets. Able to coach members of the team to reach their full potential. Will have a complete understanding of all departmental procedures and systems and play an active role in overseeing and developing systems to meet the needs of the business. Able to implement and oversee new systems, procedures and products effectively and within agreed time frames. Will prepare and deliver professional and well-constructed presentations to colleagues, senior management and partners. Able to communicate effectively at a high level with all clients including VIP's. Flexible and willing to invest significant time and effort in order to ensure agreed targets are achieved. Planning and conducting three monthly and end of year reviews encouraging two way open and honest discussion with the Customer Service Team and providing feedback to the Operations Manager. Able to interview potential candidates effectively. Managing and monitoring team performance whilst also carrying out additional audits where required. Leading by example, demonstrating values and behaviours and identifying areas and suggestions for: Values, sustainability, respect, integrity, team work, innovation and excellence. Successfully and effectively dealing with difficult and contentious issues where applicable and to adhere to policy wordings; this in order to manage complaints both fairly and professionally and within regulatory guidelines. To complete MI for Management Team; this includes gathering information, undertaking RCA and creating solutions for improvements. Successfully and effectively dealing with difficult and contentious issues where applicable and to adhere to policy wordings. To effectively control meetings with a view of achieving a specific outcome or to extract specific information. Will possess excellent computer skills. Innovative with business and product knowledge. An excellent knowledge within your area. Comprehensive business, product and private car insurance knowledge (minimum 2 years). Previous team leading experience (minimum 2 years). Able to work either independently or collaboratively. Able to prioritise workload in order of importance and to multi-task if required. PC literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience of working within an insurance related role.
