Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit a Major Maintenance Technician for our Pilsworth team, based in Bury. You’ll work 45 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with weekends occasionally required. The Role: As our Major Maintenance Technician, you’ll complete routine and non-routine in-frame rebuilds and de-cokes of the LFG and AD utilisation equipment. You will ensure the agreed build isn't compromised and that repairs are executed on time without disruption to other site activities. The Major Maintenance Technician will provide a fully comprehensive overhaul and repair service for the entire Power Gen portfolio of equipment. You will attend sites for scheduled planned shutdowns and conduct the job brief within the allotted time or better following OEM guide and industry best practice. Additionally, you’ll assist the Lead Major Maintenance Technician to identify and specify any unforeseen anomalies that weren’t part of the job brief or have resulted as a consequence of site conditions. Our Ideal Major Maintenance Technician: Planned preventative maintenance of large reciprocating Powergen assets Practical experience of engine, plant process maintenance and diagnostics Electrical and electronic experience in low voltage systems Proven hands on experience of the operation and maintenance of equipment relevant to the role. General engineering and operations experience in a heavy engineering environment.
