Starting at £18.00 per hour (equates to NHS Band 6) | 36 or 48 hours per week available | Days & Nights | Care Home | My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced RGN or RMN qualified Nurse to progress into a Deputy Manager role. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to move into a more senior/management position in an elderly care home environment. This service near Ely, is privately owned with experienced and highly trained staff already in place. Details of this Deputy Nurse Manager position and what the home is offering: A permanent, full-time contract of 36 or 48 hours per week Day and night shifts Starting at £18.00 per hour which equates to NHS Band 6, then a review as you progress A very thorough induction and ongoing training and development opportunities in a supportive working environment As Deputy Nurse Manager your duties and responsibilities will include: Undertaking assessments for new/prospective and existing residents Coordinating and managing the care and nursing staff, including supervisions and appraisals Ensuring care plans are correctly updated and taking the lead on care planning Undertaking risk assessments Applicants for this Deputy Nurse Manager position should meet the following criteria: NMC Registered Adult General Nurse/RGN or Mental Health Nurse/RMN Demonstrate proven elderly and dementia care experience Confident leading, developing and motivating a team Demonstrate good working knowledge of CQC essential standards Flexible approach to work to support a 24-hour 7-day care service If you would like to apply now, please follow the link provided.
