Overview
Our client- are a leading regulatory body who set the standards for Education, Training and Practice for a wide range of Health and Care practices. They wish to appoint a Head of Fitness to Practise. The Role- You will have overall operational responsibility and management of the functions of the Fitness to Practise Directorate. To implement the organisations FTP strategy, working closely with appointed agencies, and in support of the Senior Management Team and Council to develop the FTP strategy. To produce and manage business plans, and performance and service delivery improvement plans and deliver these in support of the overall strategy. To award and terminate contracts. To control a budget of £14m, providing management information and planning. The Person- You will be Degree Educated with experience of managing staff- based operations with complex business processes, ideally with experience within the healthcare sector, with a knowledge of political and governmental processes. A high level of diplomacy and proven ability to communicate with and manage stakeholders. Strong presentation skills, dealing with a variety of audiences. Experience in balancing cost control with operational delivery performance and service quality. Significant skills in operational management.
