Overview
Our client is a leading supplier of high-quality ingredients to the food and wellness industries. They're based in the US, but have offices across Europe. The company is a market leader. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The role is designed to provide administrative and research support to various projects and task within the quality department to drive our continuous improvement efforts. Key responsibility: Support an improvement project on the management of our animal feed additives portfolio: Review & File supplier documentation specific to this project Update supplier status in our ERP system Test ERP system for new features in training mode Support the creation of automatic labels by created a labelling database for our animal feed additives Support our supplier approval & monitoring process for all distribution ingredients Generate a consolidated matrix of certificates for all suppliers across our various business entities to allow better tracking Request, review, and file supplier certificates upon expiry Support the request and filing of additional supplier documents (self-audit questionnaires). Check suppliers CoA against specifications at goods-in and follow-up any discrepancies Support the creation, update and filing of statement for the quality team Support the Specifications & SDS updates for all ingredients Key competencies: The candidate must have knowledge of HACCP and food safety The candidate must have relevant education or experience in the Food Industry / Pharmaceuticals or Supplements Good understanding of Quality requirements and standard in the food industry (ISO, HACCP, BRC, GFSi etc.) The candidate is required to be flexible and versatile in their work ethic and be able to work autonomously as part of a small team. Very competent in the use of Microsoft Office including excel / word / outlook Attention to detail – complete all tasks in an accurate and consistent manner Communication skills – able to write and speak clearly and articulately with various stakeholders including supplier, customers and other departments
