Overview
The Company: On behalf of a market leading IFA firm based in North Leeds I am on the look-out for an experienced Paraplanner who holds a private wealth focused adviser support background, to add to their back-office team. The firm themselves are a hugely successful family run business, looking to do add further research/report writing skillset to their ever-expanding paraplanning team, in support of 2 Chartered IFA’s. From a proposition point of view, they offer holistic whole-of-market advice to HNW private clients as well as group pensions/life/risk work too; and is coupled with a focused client-centric, relationship orientated approach to financial advice. The Role: Reporting into the technical lead for the firm, as mentioned above the successful candidate will be tasked with supporting 5 advisers. Responsibilities include: Carrying out fund, product and provider research Obtaining Illustrations and quotations Liaising with consultants to provide high quality advice to meet the needs of our clients Writing suitability reports which will cover investment, protection, estate planning, inheritance tax, pension accumulation and pension decumulation planning Keeping abreast of industry and regulatory changes to ensure that all output is robust and compliant Benefits: Free parking on site. Group pension, PMI, 4xDIS and 25 days holiday stats The Person: Applicants will ideally be Part-Qualified Diploma or working towards QCF level 4 Diploma status, articulate with the ability to work confidently with both wealthy private clients and corporate clients. The ideal candidate will be highly organised and technically astute within the private wealth advice space, inclusive of investment, pensions protection and IHT planning experience from a practical point of view.
