Junior to Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer - Shoreditch Considered a hotbed for creativity, originality and innovation Shoreditch has created a number of worlds firsts and companies like Cisco, Facebook, Google, Intel and Microsoft have invested in this area. Even Foster and Partners have recently designed a landmark tower in this booming area. You're probably thinking what has this got to do with me? Well it's no surprise that some of the most creative and admired engineering consultancies and architects also operate from here. Supported by a Senior, Associate you'll work on an interesting range of projects in collaboration with a number of fintech, hotel, residential developer and commercial property clients. You'll see projects through from feasibility, through construction to Post Occupancy Evaluations and feel good that you've designed buildings that use less energy and carbon and improve the overall health and well-being of their occupants. You'll enjoy working in a social and friendly environment and collaborate with the inhouse architects and sustainability engineers and design HVAC services that blend in seamlessly with their environments. You will be given a lot of freedom, flexibility and autonomy and develop your skills and knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health Design, BIM and Sustainable design. Benefits 37.5 hours a week and flexible hours. 25 days leave Discretionary annual bonus (has paid out every year since they were established) Annual performance review and increase.
