Overview

PBM Trained Support Worker - Cardiff Support Worker - Central Cardiff Hays Social Care are working with some outstanding providers within East Wales and the surrounding areas, providing vulnerable individuals with practical and emotional care, enabling them to have fulfilled lives and gain further independence. We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Nationwide Charity offering residential and day center support to those with ASD and PMLD. Your role would be to support service users on a 1:1 and 2:1 basis, promoting their independence and helping them access the wider community. Please note, this is a full time contract of 37.5 hours per week: 9-4:30 Monday to Friday. A full driving license and access to your own vehicle for work purposes is essential for this post. Most activities will tend to be either one to one or in small groups and involve social events, plenty of trips out and accessing to the community. Preferred attributes: - Experience with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Complex Needs - Professional Attitude - Passionate about Care - A Willingness to Travel - You must be organised, a good communicator and self-motivated. - Drivers are desirable but not necessary.
