MODELLING ENGINEER - MATLAB / SIMULINK LINCOLN, LINCOLNSHIRE REF : DRQ1TAG03 TO £53,000 BASE EXCELLENT BENEFITS THE COMPANY International defence consultancy with offices around the UK. Working on site at The Electronic Warfare Centre in Lincoln. THE ROLE As a Modelling Engineer you will utilise your knowledge on the operations of weapons systems, defensive systems and the technology sits behind them. You will be responsible for Compilation of countermeasure tactics reports based upon the results of simulation and analysis of those results. The design, building and development in house modelling and analysis tools. Carrying out countermeasure development for generic and specific platforms against threat system models. Formulate and understand complex mathematical algorithms and their implementation, or maintenance, in software models using a range of languages. The provision of innovative ideas in respect to countermeasures development and simulation. THE PERSON In order to succeed in this role, you should ideally have the following skills and experience: · MATLAB/Simulink experience · Ability to build radar signal processing chains in software tools · A minimum of 5 years relevant experience SALARY To £53,0000 Base plus excellent benefits package.
