Overview

Head of Corporate Communications (Perm) £Competitive Bonus Benefits Paddington, London In this newly created role, you will be at the forefront of building A2Dominion's reputation and raising its brand profile over the next five years. We need an ambitious, heavyweight communications professional to lead us through the next stages of developing our new external communications strategy and plan, as well as embedding and motivating a new team. This opportunity comes at an exciting time for the award-winning group, as it embarks on a period of organisational changes, with a new Corporate Strategy for 2020-25 and a major transformation programme that is set to bring significant improvements for both customers and staff. In this varied role, your experience in developing and delivering group-wide communications strategies will see you leading on projects involving brand, media relations, B2B marketing, internal communications, as well as issues and crisis management. You will also be responsible for managing a team of five and for devising a longer-term approach for delivering and resourcing the function - incorporating growth areas relating to employee engagement, public affairs and investor relations. The ideal candidate will already have significant experience of corporate/external communications at a senior level within a large/complex organisation, as well as people and project management experience. We're looking for a leader with a wealth of experience of managing and developing a multi-disciplinary communications team, coupled with a first-rate news sense and the ability to think strategically. A business management qualification would also be highly regarded.
