Overview
Public Practice Specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment are working with a leading and highly progressive firm of Accountants in Birmingham who are seeking to recruit an Accounts & Audit Senior to join their team. The successful individual will gain exposure to an impressive client base including OMBs, International Groups, Charities and FCA regulated companies. You will ideally be ACCA or ACA qualified (Finalist or Part Qualified also considered) with experience of completing audit assignments and a good working knowledge of FRS 102 and UK GAAP reporting standards. The successful individual will be working both in house and off site and be responsible for leading external audits from planning to completion, the preparation and review of statutory accounts and leading teams of junior staff on site. The role can be seen in more detail below Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of the audit process from planning & fieldwork through to completion Preparation of statutory accounts Ensure planned audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives.
