Overview

Our client, an independent recruitment agency specialising in a niche business sector, is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to their team. Located close to Brackley and working within a small team, the Recruitment Consultant role will be responsible for supporting clients across the UK in fulfilling their business need for temporary, contracted and permanent staff members. Responsibilities & Duties Recruitment: Contacting new and existing candidates to understand their requirements; maintaining a record of this within the candidate profile held on the database system. Responding to both candidates and clients that have registered their details / requirements on the company website, or have emailed in. Answering the phone to both candidates and clients , dealing with their requests accordingly. Prospecting for work by contacting potential clients and companies not yet registered with the agency. Identifying candidates for vacancies / vacancies for candidates, using the CRM system, industry resources, web searches etc. and progressing the process through to the creation of an assignment or booking. Prepare a list of current latest open jobs with vacancy details for bulk mailing to candidates who have requested vacancy information. Ensure terms and conditions have been agreed and completed for all clients. Registration of new candidates onto the CRM system - contact by telephone or email, understanding skills / experience, updating profiles, create folders on a central system. Administration: Occasionally update spreadsheets as details are received (taken from emails, phone calls etc.) and bulk mail to signed-up candidates. Refresh or close down vacancies on the CRM system as appropriate. Enter new vacancies on central system as they are received by email, colleagues etc. Maintain distribution lists (using Mailchimp) by importing new signed-up candidates or deleting mailing profiles as required. Registration of new businesses and updating systems as information is received. Our client's office hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Our client is seeking a self-starter who is able to work on their own initiative but also as part of the team. Although no specific recruitment experience is necessary, communication skills are key to the role, and you must be confident with contacting potential new clients both via telephone and email. Word, Excel & Outlook experience are a must, as are tea-making skills and a sense of a humour A basic salary up to £18k per annum is offered for this role, with an achievable OTE of c. £40,000 per annum. Candidates will need to have their own transport given our clients rural location.
