Overview
This role is working for an established computer distributor based in Farnborough Objectives: This role is specifically to work with existing and develop new customer accounts. These accounts are both UK and worldwide. This person is expected to grow these accounts and maintain a complete and professional service to these customers. NO COLD CALLING REQUIRED Job specification: To receive telephone, fax and e-mail enquiries and keep a log of all enquiries taken. A good telephone manner is required for this work coupled with the ability to liaise at all levels Check with suppliers to see if stock enquiries can be sourced. Use of the internet will be required along with structured sourcing through directories and the like. Telephone enquiries to other countries is part of the normal sourcing process. Having found the product, you are then required to achieve the best possible buy price in order that the desired resale can be met. Conversion from US dollars or other main currencies to UK pounds and back is part of the normal procedure. An understanding that all additional charges such as freight and duty will need to form part of these calculations. All orders are loaded onto the system Ensure that the product gets shipped from the supplier and payment made. Will be required to develop an understanding of the supplier base and the contacts to use in procurement. 09.00 to 17.00 Monday to Friday . Free car parking - 23 days holiday rising to 27 plus Bank Holidays This role would suit a Sales Administrator , Purchasing Administrator , Internal Sales Person ,Sales or Customer Service person.
