Overview

IT Systems Administrator required by a global employer (who work with global brands) to be responsible for the installation, maintenance, support and configuration of software and hardware-related infrastructure issues. You will be based in South-West London, part of the local IT team supporting UK-based employees, third-party users and external vendors. You will also work with the global team to ensure smooth delivery of all company-wide IT-related projects. Salary Range: £35-50k, depending on experience, plus benefits including Private Medical Cover. Role & Responsibilities Support and maintain Microsoft Windows, VDI Virtual Center, VDI Golden Image, VMWare AppStacks, Skype for Business and Polycom Support, review and implement cybersecurity measures Monitor network infrastructure and flag issues Identify and fix issues ad-hoc issues, as well as perform IT audits Support 3 rd line team on issues, when necessary Manage backup and recovery, for example, using Symantec, Veeam, Equallogic and Pure Set up and maintain Active Directory (AD) groups Mac device maintenance and support Experience / Knowledge Desired Cisco Switches and Router experience, and CCNA certification Microsoft Server support, maintenance and performance tuning experience, including Enterprise Administrator (2008-2019), with an MCSE certification Veeam experience Experience with Active Directory (AD), Virtualisation tech such as VMWare (VCP), Skype for Business, SQL and scripting This will suit someone who enjoys working in a diverse and challenging environment for a progressive and modern employer.
