Overview
Are you a mechanical design engineer looking for a cradle to grave role? Are you well-versed in both 3d and 2d designs? Exciting Mechanical Design role on offer to work within an expanding organisation, with the opportunity to receive training on highly technical equipment. Do you have experience with AutoCAD 3d? Do you have experience working with special purpose built machinery, steel or sheet metal products? This industry leading business, specialise in the design and manufacture of cutting edge sheet metal products. Due to success and growth of the company, they are looking for a highly motivated Design Engineer to join their expanding team. In this role you will be carrying out design and development for mechanical and steel products, producing hydraulic and electrical diagrams. You will carry out physically testing to prove the design concepts and carry out cost reduction exercises through redesigning components and/or sub-assemblies to reduce component cost or manufacturing time. The Role: Design and Develop bespoke sheet metal products Producing hydraulic and electrical diagrams.
