Overview
I'm currently working with an Automotive company who have a number of offices based across the UK/EU to find an IT Service Architect that will join a team of 2. With this company the main body of the IT function is based in Farnham including the team you'll be joining if you're a successful when applying for the role. You'll be responsible for all aspects of the IT service design and introduction policy, process, procedure and quality. The goal of the Service Architect team is to ensure the products, projects and IT changes are safely, effectively and efficiently delivered into IT Service Operation with little or no disruption to the business In this role some of your key responsibilities will include: Develop service standards, proposals, measures and targets that ensure new and amended IT services are supported by effective "service wraps". Cover appropriate service matter such as Service Level Agreements (SLA), Service Level Targets (SLT), Key Performance Indicators (KPI), Critical Success Factors (CSF), Objective / Key Results (OKR), Operational level agreements (OLA) and effective underpinning supplier contracts. Work closely with our product, project and IT teams to ensure new demand requirements are appropriately gathered, documented, justified, costed, prioritised, delivered and improved where possible. Ensure clear, relevant communications to business stakeholders, staff, IT senior management and suppliers. Identify service gaps, dependencies and targets of new service demands, ensuring service risks are agreed and understood by our stakeholders. Attendance at steering meetings, development workshops, scrum reviews, architectural design boards and lead in all service design and introduction matters. Supporting updates to the IT Service Catalogue, Microsoft SharePoint sites and Planner (Kanban) locations with all Service Architecture documentation, and to ensure expired documentation is regularly being archived as appropriate. The key skills/experience the ideal candidate will hold includes (Please note these are all desirable) Demonstrable leadership skills, including effective communication at all levels. External customer facing and commercial experience in the delivery and support of IT services within an Agile and ITIL environment. Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities. Ability to prioritise and effectively plan within a rapidly changing environment. Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills. Pragmatic and flexible with the ability to identify "the art of the possible" from an IT Service, Support and Improvement perspective.
