Overview

Are you proud to care? As a Support Worker, you will cover waking night and day shifts caring for adults living with complex care needs in Taunton, Bridgwater, Wellington and the surrounding areas and will ensure that they always receive the highest levels of care. This role is a chance to make a real difference to people's lives - without your support, they may live a life constrained to specialist units or hospitals. Shifts for this position vary but there are options to work waking nights and 12 hour day shifts. Your tasks will include supporting service users with personal care, follow their personalised care plan and encouraging them to develop relationships in their local communities. You'll work as part of a small team in the homes of our clients. Additionally, you could also care for service users with Ventilation, Epilepsy and Tracheostomy. Flexi Pay Flexi Pay allows you to instantly withdraw an advance of up to 25% of the value of your existing shifts even on weekends and bank holidays Requirements With experience of caring professionally or for a loved one under your belt, and with a valid certificate in Moving and Handling, and the right to live and work in the UK. Passion and determination to bring comfort and joy to our service users is a must. Access to your own vehicle would be beneficial, but is not a requirement.
