Overview

We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Fitter for a business specialising in the production of foodstuffs, from grain through milling into final food products This role will report to the site manager, and you will be responsible for the daily maintenance of machinery, carrying out checks and reacting to breakdowns to minimise production downtime. Also managing a preventative maintenance programme, including the ordering and re-stocking of spares. This a hands-on position working with a range of mechanical equipment Applicants need to have experience of working within a manufacturing environment. Role Responsibilities: Liaising with Production staff Health and Safety machinery checks Preventative Maintenance Tasks Fault Finding and breakdown recovery General site Maintenance Repair of pumps and vacuum systems Candidate You will be an experienced mechanical based fitter Hands on approach and experience of working in a factory Can be time served or have the qualities required due to practical experience. Hours of work are Monday - Friday Days.
