We have an exciting opportunity for an articulate Portfolio Analyst to join our Transformation team and set up our Project Management Office. This is a brand new opportunity which promises to be fast paced and varied, providing you exposure to a wide range of internal business groups. Reporting into the Transformation Director you will ensure greater visibility, oversight and control of all strategic projects being delivered across the Transformation portfolio Responsibilities: Establish a PMO Centre of Excellence for project delivery across the business. Design and roll out project and programme delivery frameworks and gate controls. Creation of standard tools, processes and templates for project and programme delivery Develop and manage reporting process for all projects in Transformation portfolio. Carry out assurance reviews at key project stages to drive quality, consistency and to mitigate risks impacting project and portfolio Develop and maintain portfolio of key in-flight and pipeline projects ensuring it remains aligned to strategic objectives. Help to control dependency management, financial management, risk management and benefits tracking across the portfolio. Support the Transformation Director in helping to drive improvements to project delivery across the group. About You: Previous Experience within a project / programme / portfolio management role is essential Knowledge of project management tools and techniques in the context of governance and assurance. Understanding of different methodologies and project lifecycles Previous experience working within a low PMO maturity and helped to set PMO up. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Experience of training/supporting others on new processes Experience of working in a complex matrix environment. Ability to build effective stakeholder relationships at all levels. Articulate with strong written and presentation skills. Relevant qualifications would be advantageous such as Prince 2, P30, APM qualifications Ability to work with changing priorities as business and PMO matures.
