Overview
A newly created, hands-on role, within the food industry BRC A Grade Accredited site in the food industry. Reporting to the Technical Manager they are responsible for providing adequate quality control cover for all areas of Production and Packing through QC on the production floors and ensuring that all current legislation, systems and procedures are adhered to. Duties and Responsibilities · Auditing - GMP, Hygiene and Internal Systems · Root Cause analysis and corrective actions · Customer Complaints and Investigation · Environmental Swabbing and Management of micro laboratory sampling to maintain schedules in place · Calibration and Titration testing and maintenance of records · Monitoring of process control paperwork and factory documentation · Supporting with Taste Panel and organoleptic reporting · Ensure that systems and procedures are adhered to · May be called on to perform other activities or fulfil assignments in other areas as required. Desired Experience It is essential that the successful candidate have experience of working in the food manufacturing industry. Food Safety level 2 certification is required. Good inter-personal and communication skills are a necessity, as is meticulous attention to detail. Must be able to work independently and make decisions and be able to deal with multiple tasks simultaneously to meet daily job requirements. They will have exceptional organisational skills, a natural can-do attitude and great attention to detail.
