Overview
My client is seeking a proactive, experienced and business-focused compliance professional to join our small but growing London-based team. This individual will work closely with other functional experts (such as Legal, Operations, Claims, Underwriting and Sales) in supporting a leading multinational insurance company. Key Responsibilities: Work with management and staff to ensure the business division adheres to and maintains compliant practices in accordance with internal and external requirements; Help identify, manage and mitigate regulatory risks; Provide advice and guidance on compliance issues; Research, monitor and help establish best practices for emerging regulatory developments; Manage compliance tasks associated with existing programs and new business proposals; Assist with preparing corporate governance materials for Board and Committee approval; and Requirements: Extensive insurance experience in a compliance position; Excellent attention to detail and collaborative nature; Ability to deal competently with pressure and prioritise workloads; Ability to render succinct and timely advice on a broad range of common compliance matters, such as Treating Customers Fairly, Insurance Distribution, Data Privacy and Outsourcing; Good knowledge of FCA, PRA and Lloyd's regulations and requirements, and how these are applied in practice.
