Job Description Due to continuing growth, we now have a requirement for a Senior Finance Analyst to join the Divisional Finance team business on a permanent basis. The Senior Finance Analyst role will incorporate both Commercial Finance and Personal Finance divisions with a focus on finance performance. The key to success in this role is to be able to provide insight into the financial results of the divisions to evaluate performance. The successful candidate will know what MI is relevant to the task, and what key measures will be required and develop relevant analysis, reporting and models. They will also successfully work with other teams to provide financial and data support and insight to assist in the decision making process. Whilst consistency across divisions will be sought, the role holder should be able to recognise differences in divisional needs. Key Responsibilities Financial analysis and commentary of the month end results for each division and across specific areas of their P&L and Loan Books. This will include analysis key metrics including NIM, RONE and product yields; Produce required financial analysis for the CEOs monthly review meetings; Produce and develop the monthly Finance reporting packs and work closely with Group Finance on their design and ensure alignment; Improvements to the divisional monthly Cost of Funds reporting, working closely with Group Finance and Treasury; Produce and develop other regular finance reports with analysis and commentary; Responsibility for the colleague incentive schemes ensuring accurate calculation of monthly and quarterly bonus payments and liaison with the Heads of the Sales teams on the required data inputs; Manage the annual tariff of charges calculations process; Ad hoc business partner support; Ad hoc support to other members of the Divisional Finance team. Qualifications Essential Experience Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel; Highly proficient in analysis of data CUBES; Develop and maintain financial models; Strong attention to detail and accuracy; Experience in financial analysis and reporting; Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence different levels of management; Experience of being a Finance business partner and of stakeholder management; Ability to interrogate and analyse large quantities of data; Finalist/newly qualified accountant.
