Overview
Have you started your career in accountancy practice but feel you have reached a glass ceiling? Would you like to further your experience by joining a firm who have a track record of training and developing their team? Watson Evans Associates are working with a long established accountancy practice who are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team in Penzance. The role is available on a full time, permanent basis and will likely have a starting salary between £20,000 and £25,000 dependent on experience and qualifications. In due course, there may be the potential for further study support for you to add to your qualifications. Working as part of an established team under well qualified managers and partners, you will work with a variety of clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. You will be tasked with preparing sets of accounts, mixed tax work, VAT and some client bookkeeping and management accounts.
