Merchandising and Field Marketing Executive – Ad hoc and Casual Hours Due to increasing demand the team at WAVE are looking to speak with dynamic and flexible individuals who can increase visibility, availability and compliance across multiple leading Brands. Successful applicants will work throughout various retail channels across the UK & Ireland on a casual, ad hoc basis. As our casual roles offer flexible working hours with the choice to work within activities that suit your skills, a position with Wave is ideal for those who are: looking to add to their tactical agency portfolio, supplement their current employment hours, wanting flexibility in term time whilst at university, or wishing to gain experience within the field sales and marketing sectors. At Wave we represent FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) brands across multiple category channels within various retail and event environments. From make-up and beauty to alcohol, ice cream and snacks. We create exciting and inspiring brand experiences by increasing consumer engagement and we achieve this through conducting various field marketing activities. The Role: At Wave, we offer a varied and dynamic portfolio of services to our clients.We are looking for individuals on a casual and ad hoc basis to support us in some of or all of the following: Merchandising – driving sales for our Clients and Retail outlets by ensuring great visibility and availability of key Brands. Point of Sale Placement – ensuring key Promotional messages are communicated to the Consumer through siting additional displays and Point of Sale Materials. Mystery Shopping – following a detailed Mystery Mission Briefing you will visit and test any environment from Retailers or Pop-ups to bars and restaurants. Active Selling – To actively sell a product means that your goal is to make consumers/customers aware that your products exists, and to actively convince them through F&Bs that they need to/should buy it. The Package: - Competitive hourly rate – this may vary based on the tasks required - Mileage remuneration - Referral scheme - Group training events - Flexible working hours, chosen by you within the activity timeframes About You: Wave would like to speak to candidates who are dynamic, confident and who are able to work flexibly. Although experience within field sales and marketing is a plus, it isn’t essential as full training will be given.
