Quality Technicians Buckingham, Buckinghamshire £33,600 - £37,240 Per Annum (depending on shifts worked) Permanent Positions Black Cat Recruitment are currently working on a large recruitment campaign for Europe’s leading automotive lighting manufacturer for the prestige & super-car market. Due to significant new investment in personnel, processes and plant throughout 2020, there are opportunities for up to four experienced, motivated and committed Quality Technicians to join them on Permanent contracts on a PM or Night shift. Working hours will typically be: 3pm - 11pm (Monday to Thursday) and 3pm - 10.30pm (Fridays) Or: 11pm - 7am (Monday to Thursday) and 11pm - 6.30am (Fridays) Key Responsibilities: Assessment of product In-Line and End-Of-Line (EOL) visual inspection failures across all manufacturing lines Feedback issues to manufacturing Raising Quality Alerts and ensuring follow through with manufacturing Analysis of customer warranty returns Analysis of customer Goods In rejected products Inspection of outgoing material when required Collect non-conforming material from customer when required Carrying out Product audits Control on non-conforming parts Manage scrap/rework as required Maintain 5S standards Provide detailed and accurate analysis reports Management / training of EOL Inspectors Categorising failure modes Qualifications and/or Experience Required: BTEC/HNC in an Engineering discipline Good written and spoken English. Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets. Understanding of visual inspection and sorting of finished products essential. Experience of working in Quality Assurance. A valid driving licence.
