Overview
Alexander Steele is currently working with an excellent multi-site food manufacturing company that is looking to bring on a Quality Assurance Auditor into their team, based in Bedfordshire. As Quality Assurance Auditor, you will be reporting into the Quality Assurance Manager while being responsible for all quality on site. The role will be a permanent night shift position paying circa £20,000 - £25,000 for the right candidate. The working hours are Sunday – Thursday from 10 pm – 7 am. You will also receive 33 days holiday along with a generous pension scheme. The Role: • Monitoring procedures & HACCP system on auditing. • Ensuring all documents are maintained and filed correctly for approval. • Carrying out audits, ensuring that they are completed to the necessary company standard. • Generating and issuing audit reports and carry out follow up/reviews. • Carry out internal audits, assisting the Technical and Quality team with any issues identified • Understand customer complaints • Conducting GMP and other internal audits to maintain and improve site manufacturing performance The Candidate: • Experienced in working in a similar role previously within the food manufacturing industry. • Qualified in HACCP Level 3 and Lead Auditor/Supplier auditor is a must • Experience auditing to BRC standards. • Ability to build and maintain relationships, both internally with various departments and external suppliers. • Can demonstrate consistent standards and behaviours
