Edinburgh - Software Engineer at Senior-Principal level - global technology company The company are a globally-known technology company and you'll be joining a high calibre team and working on a platforms with millions of users. It's a very innovative technical environment. Their Edinburgh base is in the city centre - a great location with good tram/train/bus links. The team are tech agnostic - and this is reflected in their hiring process so there's no coding tests in a random language that's not your bag - what they do look for is bright Engineers with good problem-solving skills. If you've got good experience in systems design, data structures and algorithms, this will stand you in good stead. If you can write smart code which is maintainable, this will also help You'll need demonstrable experience in one or more programming language (Java, Scala, C#, Python…). The salaries and benefits on offer are phenomenal. Salaries in the region of £60,000-90,000 (more at Principal Software Engineer level) and bonus, share options and flexible benefits including private healthcare.
