Overview
My client, a leading name in their sector is looking to increase headcount in their IT division to support the continued growth and success of the organisation. You'll offer hands-on support in a varied role that's going to challenge you and help you develop new skills. Just some of your duties: Provide a secure environment, managing and mitigating risks Maximise the use of existing resources, skills and technologies for the greatest benefit Input into, improve, and execute on business continuity and disaster recovery practices Respond to user and service requests on a timely basis, adhering to SLA’s as directed Maintain technology infrastructure, providing Operational stability by following and using the tools, policies, processes and procedures available What you'll know: Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems (Windows 2008 and above) Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 7 and above) Linux & Unix (Ubuntu, Centos & FreeBSD) Administration Virtualisation technologies (Hyper-V and/or VMWare) Networking topologies, protocols & methodologies Firewalls, Switches, & Routers Telephony Systems (Diallers, Avaya IP Office, Avaya Desk Phones, SIP) What you'll get: Work directly with the UK IT Manager Training and development Salary to £35,000 Pension, Annual Leave, Additional Benefits For full information regarding this role, please send a CV today.
