Wayne Fuel Management UK Ltd Construction and Forecourt Services is part of Dover Fueling Solutions. Wayne UK employs ground-workers on a variety of projects on Petrol Forecourts and Commercial Installations and we are looking for a Groundworks Site Operative for a small team based in Leicester . You will join us on a full time, fixed term contract in return for a competitive salary. The Groundworks Site Operative opportunity: Our projects require team players, staying away for periods of up to 2 weeks on occasions. What we’re looking for in our Groundworks Site Operative : - Sound knowledge of various works, including shallow trenching for the installation of drainage and pipework systems, using appropriate tools and plant safely - Experience of concrete and finishing works to include the laying reinforced bays, man-way frame and cover installation etc. - You must have a sound track record of supervising a small team - Ability to follow diagrams and work schedules and call off materials and report progress - A current formal Health and Safety Qualification is desirable - Good general standard of Education - Full UK Driving license / working towards license with no bans or convictions - Minimum SPA Passport (Petrol), If CSS already held this will cover initial requirement. Confined Space Entry is essential - Can follow procedures after instruction on using calibrated equipment - Able to assist with chamber breaks minor civils - Numerate and literate - Experience of working on construction / Project sites - Good communicator able to articulate and resolve technical issues - Good time keeping / time management skills - Able to accurately complete work forms timesheets and other paperwork Interested?
