Overview
The Role Our client who are a leader in their field of expertise are looking to appoint a Maintenance Fitter to join the Maintenance Department. This role is a new position, within a fast paced and busy department. Key Accountabilities & Duties Duties will include:- Forming part of a craftsman team on both planned maintenance schedules and emergency breakdown repairs across the site. The Candidate You will have gained significant experience in a related role and must be able to demonstrate the following:- Have successfully completed a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering Previous experience in general plant maintenance in a heavily mechanised, industrial environment Must demonstrate a working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Must have the ability to communicate and influence at all level Must demonstrate a professional manner and approach at all times Ability to work as part of a small team and support each other Ability to use your own initiative Self motivated Remuneration Salary £29,439.49 per annum Stakeholder pension scheme, with up to 10% company contributions (if employee pays 6.25% gross) 25 days holiday plus statutory Bank holidays 3 x salary death in service cover (if joining the Stakeholder pension scheme) Generous bonus schemes (H&S bonus, production bonus, annual bonus, blood lead bonus) Employee Assistance Programme Physiotherapy benefit Excellent working environment Hours of work 7.00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Monday – Friday Lunch: 45 minute break each day The main site is a 24hr/7 day per week continuous operation
