Overview
An exciting opportunity has become available to join our client as a Junior Support Technician. If you are wanting to embark on a career in IT or want a role with great growth potential, this is the perfect place for you. They will provide training for all internal systems as well as relevant certifications including Cisco, Juniper, Forcepoint, Palo Alto and Meraki tracks. The role includes mediating between customers, suppliers, resellers and internal teams via telephone and email, and updating internal CRM to ensure all cases are accurately tracked. You will be a primary contact point for customers to log queries and faults, advise customers of planned engineering works, work with their data providers, along with providing detailed updates to internal and external customers. You will need good attention to detail coupled with a positive minded can-do attitude. The ability to work on your own initiative is essential as you will be handling complex cases and taking ownership of issues. Your working hours will be 40-hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 6pm with 30 minutes lunch. While this is role is aimed a more junior position, it would really suit someone who wants to become a fully-fledged Network/IT engineer.
