Overview
Here at Fawkes & Reece we are looking for a Lead Engineer to work in the City of London (North Lambeth), to work in one of London's hottest and trendiest commercial offices. Paying up to £40,000 per annum. If you are seeking a new opportunity to work on a prestigious contract in the city of London based in exciting buildings and are very customer focused. Then this role is for you. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of engineers and ensuring all duties are completed to a high standard. Providing both Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance to thousands of clients. You will be required to ensure all PPM's and Reactive duties are completed and checked and report any arising issues back to senior management. You will need to be client facing and someone who can carry out reports. Supervision and escorting subcontractors whilst on site, induction of new employees, signing off work permits etc. Duties: Undertaking, PPM and reactive works to Mechanical and HVAC Plant, General fault finding and rectification to Mechanical and HVAC Plant, Check-up and adjustments of BMS setpoints. Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast's, Control panel, Power distribution), Emergency lighting & Fire Alarm Test's, Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning), Pumps, Motors, Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing), Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, changing taps, seals etc, BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds), UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings, General building fabric, Escort sub-contractors Maintain up to date records of all work carried out on plant and equipment on internal management system. Deal courteously with tenants and client on site. Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and work as a part of a team. Liaising with the building manager on a daily basis, escorting sub-contractors, signing off electrical and work permits, RAMS, keeping paperwork and compliance up to date and ensuring log books are constantly updated.
