Overview
We are currently looking for various Site Engineers on a contract basis to come from a Highways background working on the M4 junction 3-12 with the project’s office being based within the Reading area. Within the role you will work on earthworks, Drainage, and junction junction’s improvement undertaking the Setting Out. The purposed of the role is to undertake Site Engineering control and implementation of works on site, including monitoring and reporting of progress. As the Site Engineer your duties may be, but not limited too: Setting out from primary control provided by others Read and determine information from drawings, schedules and specification Production of Task Briefing Sheets Contribution to production of Permit to Dig, including briefing to the workforce Carries out associated briefings Carries out Safety Inspections Hazard Identification and contribution to development of Safe System of Work Job Requirements Setting out techniques – ability to use level & EDM, plus GPS Holds a current driving license and CSCS Card Strong work ethic with flexibility to work unsociable hours/nights Strong understanding of construction tolerances As mentioned, this is a contract position based in the Reading area and the role is inside of IR35.
