Versatile PA who enjoys a mix of HR and general office management to join leading national charity for children. The Organisation An inspirational charity that organises bespoke experiences and activities to brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families across the UK. They organise bespoke activities, events and 'occasions' that range in size from large scale entertainment days to unique individual experiences, creating special memories for the children and their families - this is an inspiring charity that positively impacts a large number of ill children each year. The Role No day will be the same as this role is a mix of PA to the CEO, providing support to senior management team plus HR and general office management As PA it will be your remit to take admin away from the CEO; screen and be the gatekeeper on calls and emails; take meeting notes/recordings, following up on action points; be point of contact for Trustees; set up and attend board meetings, taking minutes/action points; ad hoc research or projects. The HR element includes preparing recruitment packs; working with consultancies; referencing; DBS checks; letters & contracts; managing holiday/sickness records using an online portal; overseeing inductions. You will also provide office management support; ordering supplies and overseeing the general welfare of the office/team. Great, friendly, supportive team and environment. About You You are a well presented and motivated individual - with great IT skills - who enjoys managing a high volume of work on a daily basis. You'll be a natural organiser, with good time management and notable attention to detail. You are an enthusiastic and proactive individual who demonstrates a high level of diplomacy and empathy in your work. You enjoy supporting a team, and are happy juggling multiple tasks and activities. Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken are essential. This would either suit an experienced Executive PA with office management experience, or someone with the right skills but less experience and looking to learn and progress within the charity sector.
