Overview
Currently working with a subsidiary of a multinational group of manufacturers mainly focused on the aerospace industry, but also branching out to automotive and offshore. They manufacture a wide range of bespoke products and solutions that protect against damaging effects, working with various materials and the latest technology in durability. The role: Internal and supplier audits (AS9100/ISO9001) Liaise with customers and suppliers, complete non-conformance reports (8D etc.) and ensure these are resolved for rejects Administration of approved supplier list Completing 5 whys / 8D reports for internal non-conformance and rejects Co-ordinate MSA, PPAP and gauge R & R studies Compile quality alerts and KPIs Checking FAIRs in AS9102 format using Visual FAIR The candidate: Familiar with AS9100 / ISO9001, EASA 154, ISO14001 and AS13000 series of standards Knowledge and understanding of quality tools/methodologies (8D, 5 Why, etc.) Experience in the aerospace manufacturing industry or automotive and offshore A self-starter with a strong initiative and a drive for continuous improvement AS9100 Rev D internal auditing course (desirable) GCS Computer Recruitment Services is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
