Maintenance Technician Job Description We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance team based at our Birmingham site. You will be responsible for maintaining production equipment ensuring optimum availability to meet the production requirements. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance providing minimum impact on production Provide first level fault finding on plant and equipment Installation and test of new plant and equipment Performs maintenance service and repairs on assigned equipment Management of inventory spares Maintenance Technician Key skills and competencies required: Must be electrically qualified (17th/18th Edition, AM2 (Registered with IET), City & Guilds Level 3 (NVQ)) Able to recognise and solve typical maintenance issues from established operating procedures Ability to work within a team environment and able to adapt to changes in work requirements Strong communication skills both verbal and written Good Computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers Must have the ability to be flexible (shift working may be necessary)
