BI Developer – Wellingborough, Northampton, Northamptonshire WILL SKYPE INTERVIEW Location – Wellingborough, commute from Northampton, Kettering, Milton Keynes, Bedford & Coventry Salary – 50-55k plus excellent benefits This advanced organisation based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire are looking to add a BI Developer to their development team. This Business Intelligence developer role offers a fantastic opportunity for you to utilise your skills on design, development and maintenance of BI Solutions for this prestigious financial services organisation. Core responsibilities for this BI Developer role: Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. ETL Components, Tableau) Knowledge in data model techniques and hands-on experience in designing the data model Translate business needs to technical specifications Evaluate and improve existing BI systems Collaborate with team members to integrate systems Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses Create visualisations and reports for requested projects Develop and update technical documentation Write SQL queries or Oracle database reports Core skills & experience: Excellent experience working in Data Warehouse projects Hands-on experience with ETL (IICS - Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, SSRS, Pentaho, etc.) Teach, mentor, and develops junior developer skills including best practices IICS Restful APIs knowledge for real-time integration Hands-on experience with various data sources (Flat-File, XML, Oracle) IICS or PowerCenter 10x, Shell Scripting (Unix/Linux) & Oracle database experience is mandatory Relevant experience with reporting tools like OBIEE, Tableau Create and manage job scheduling - Cron, Control-M This is a fantastic opportunity where you will gain extensive exposure working on BI projects and application maintenance in a fast-paced environment.
