IT Infrastructure Manager The Company: A leading organsiaiton that operates globally who has over 200 employees is currently hiring an Infrastructure Manager who is able to remain hands on whilst managing business operations within a WINTEL environment. Our clients relies upon state-of-the-art technological systems to operate a lean back office and is at the core of the business to continued growth of the company. Role and Responsibilities: The Infrastructure & IT Manager is required to support the business users and systems whilst managing a portfolio of vendors. The role's primary focus is on Microsoft Windows, VMware vSphere 6, Dynamics with Cisco/Mitel network support. This role will include substantial hands-on work together with management of the team and strategic direction of internal IT support, upgrade and development. Key responsibilities • Leading the Infrastructure team by example and developing their skills. • Maintenance and management of the infrastructure environments. • Owning, progressing, and completing Infrastructure projects. • Server application maintenance, installation and support. • Investigating security alerts. • Managing Vendors and senior stakeholders within the corporation Preferred Skills • Significant and demonstrable experience supporting Windows Server and Desktop Platforms. • Good understanding of Cisco / Mitel Switches and Firewalls • Solid experience of installing and supporting VMware virtualisation & Infrastructure Solutions. • MS Windows 7, 8 & 10, Server 2003, 2008 & 2012 • Good experience installing and supporting Citrix XenApp • Experience of MS Dynamics • Office 365 • Cisco / Mitel Switches and Firewalls • Network performance monitoring • iSCSI SAN/NAS Storage • Veeam Backup and Replication • Active Directory (AD) - Group Policy Management • SQL experience Package: •£50,000 - £55,000 • Pension • Holiday 25 • Training • Health Care IT Infrastructure Manager This job was originally posted as www.cwjobs.co.uk/job/89955603
