Finance Analyst/Business Partner 6 Month Contract – to start immediately £335/day Ltd - £390/day umbrella in scope of IR35 Based in Milton Keynes Our client is a well established Nationwide Rail company whose professionalism and well respected name have been instrumental in their success. Our client is looking for a Finance Analyst with experience of an operational role, Business Partner position.You will be sending reports across the business to various regions and you will need to be very strong with Excel and providing reporting. You will need: Essential • Demonstrate strong understanding of business needs and relevant application of accounting standards • Membership (Or working towards a membership) of a relevant accounting body (CIMA/ACCA) or equivalent experience • Expert knowledge and experience of creating and maintaining accounts and annual budget • Significant experience within relevant finance disciplines • Strong excel skills and use of data manipulation • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to interpret technical accounting regulations into everyday language • Demonstrable effective influencing skills at a senior level • Significant understanding of financial control and risk • Excellent technical finance and accounting knowledge Desirable • Understanding of project management principles and experience of managing complex projects • Membership of a relevant accounting body • Extensive experience of Oracle based systems • Degree or equivalent qualification in finance and accounting or business management or experience The Role: • Manage and deliver the production of the Readiness Report • Business partner with data providers, relevant business area owners and Region/Routes • Deliver expert and accurate business review information and reporting • Highlight any significant issues with financial and other business results to enable informed decision making by the business area • Lead and provide financial advice and guidance to senior budget holders in understanding the impact of the period results and forecasts against budget so they can understand their business better. • Identification and deployment of process improvement activities For a full job description and more information – Contact us now on 0 7 7 6 4 8 0 8 1 6 8 To apply for this position contact Linda Davison by emailing your C.V to l I n d a .
